Medicare has awarded CVI Medical a three year contract to supply power wheelchairs and scooters, hospital beds and walkers to Medicare beneficiaries in the DFW Metroplex.  This was the result of a year-long competitive bid process.  In the eight counties that surround Dallas and Fort Worth as of January 1, 2011, CVI Medical will be one of only 27 companies supplying power wheelchairs and scooters, one of only 19 supplying hospital beds, and one of only 28 supplying walkers.  CVI Medical is one of only 15 companies that will be able to supply all three product types.
